Mikael Weermets is a Swedish hard working producer/DJ from Gothenburg-Sweden, living out his childhood-dream to become a big superstar DJ and producer. The interest of making & creating electronic dancemusic has always been there, and has always been the main thing in his life.
Spinning records started at an early age at numerous youth-events, before he started out in the Gothenburg clubscene at 2004, and hassince then, been out giging at least 10 times a month. Today, Mikael Weermets is one of the most well-known figures in the Swedish clubscene, playing various styles of electronic music, from deep & soulfulhouse to experimental jackin beats with influences from the old detroit-techno sound.
In 2007 he grabbed the award for best Swedish DJ in the Megamind.se competition for Nordics Most Popular DJ. He also reached the finals in the SMC (Scandinavian Music Convention) in 2007, competing against world stars like Eric Prydz, Axwell & Stonebridge.
In 2007 he was also working for one of the biggest Radio-networks in Scandinavia, The Voice, working as a tour-DJ. Mikael moved on, and at the beginning of 2008 he signed on for the massive radiochannel ENERGY (NRJ), working as a resident-DJ for the “NRJ @ The Club”nightclub-tour, playing with some of the worlds most famous housemusic-producers.
In the beginning of 2008 he was set to represent HED KANDI at the Sweden tour, playing with resident artists from HED KANDIs label. As the year went on, Mikael finally signed for Ministry Of Sound, being a resident-DJ for the MOS DJ-tour. In 2009, Mikael was voted to be one of the 5 most upcoming producers in the world bye Cuepoint TV, as he set his mark in the music business, releasing music on various label giants such as JOIA, Wormland, Kontor Records, Spinnin Records, Le Mans Recordings & more.
2010 is predicted to be Mikaels year to really smash into the big league, with upcoming releases on some of the biggest labels out there, teaming up with world star D.O.N.S., starting out with 3 duo-singles, featuring vocals by Gloria Gaynor, Andy P & housesuperstar diva Terri B!.
With over a dussin remixes in his bag, the cue for Mikaels services is getting bigger everyday! Be on the lookout for Mikael Weermets in the near future!

Why Change?

Since going live with our brand new website in December 2009 we have been looking at the feedback you have given us about the site. While the majority of resident’s comments have been positive, a number of people have suggested ways in which we could make your experience of our website easier.

On the back of these comments and at no additional cost, we have changed the way the website looks without losing any of the information or services.

What’s New?

The main changes you will see on the website will be on our homepage.

Before, our homepage was very simple and allowed you to simply search for what you were looking for or use the section tabs. Now we have given you a larger variety of options to find what you are looking for while still keeping the search and section tabs. We have also made it easier for you find out what is happening in Swale by adding our latest news to the home page and adding in an Events Calendar. The Events Calendar not only contains all the dates of meetings being held by the Council but also events that are being run in the community.

On the homepage you will also find “Do It Online” and “Popular Topics” sections. The “Do It Online” section will make it even easier for you to interact with us when reporting problems or paying your council tax. And the “Popular Topics” section will help keep you informed of useful and important services being run by the Council.

At the top right hand corner of the website you will also find the option to change the way you view the site. There are three options available to you:

• Mobile

We have created a wide option for residents who use larger screens; this means they will be able to fit more of the website on their screen. We have also made a mobile device site which is specifically designed for people who want to look at our website on the go whilst using a mobile phone or tablet computer.

Because of the way that web browsers are changing and getting better we have designed our website to work best in modern browsers such as Internet Explorer 8 or 9, Firefox 5, Google Chrome, Opera 11 or Safari 5. Gorgin Rezvani and Adam Turic form the Swedish DJ and
Producer duo Electro Nostra. The duo started out DJ’ing in
their hometown Uppsala in Sweden where they eventually
played at as good as all the clubs in the city. They later also
ran several club nights of their own, such as Groove Session,
La Schmoove, SMASH! and Uptown Xpress, where they as
resident DJ’s tried to spread electronic music to a wider public
in their home city.They have since moved on to doing shows in other countries
and their popular and sought after DJ sets have been heard in
Germany (Berlin), France (Paris) and Switzerland (Lausanne,
Zürich) for example.They are known for guaranteeing a good party at their shows
thanks to their crowd interaction and creativeness behind the
decks. They always deliver their own versions of the songs
they are playing by mixing actively and making and performing their own mash-ups.The duo is led by a very strong passion for House music and
are currently focusing on taking their carreer to the next level
by working on own productions.

The year of 2011 has been a terrific year for us.  But first let us have a look at where we started 5 years ago. The first version of AlbDj was opend in the spring of 2002 – what will mark our 5 year anniversary as a radio early next year. In the period since then we have seen quite a lot of other DJs clients come and go. We are happy to see most of our existing djss upgrade regularly, to see our user base increase, and we are happy to do our best to provide the solutions requested by users and to keep pace with music.Anyway, the DJ-FM team is taking a hard-won break for the next week or so before spinning back up fully on 3rd January, but in the meantime we have put together masses of content for you to get stuck into while we recharge our batteries.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
